◊ Personality: Alesta, in general, is a hardworker...under certain circumstances. She will refuse to do anything unless she can compensate in some way. This means that she wants to make money whenever she can.
Since she was left alone, Alesta's always been struggling to get by, and can go several days without eating. Her poor lifestyle though has resulted in her having a weak constitution. After what happened to her mother, Alesta has since never taken any job that would involve hurting women or children, but she has a bitter hatred towards men.
Alesta takes advantage of her appearance, and uses it to disquise herself as either a boy or girl, as well as getting jobs that women wouldn't normally be allowed to take. She strongly respects strong people, or people who are of high ranking...coughRICHcough

◊ Biography: Alesta's mother was the daughter of a farmer in the outskirts of Constantinople. One day, Aleta's mother was sent into the city by her father to run some errands. On the same day, several Templars were visiting Constantinople by order of their superiors. She caught the eye of one of these Templars, and he charmed her to an inn and well they...you know...Ask your parents.

And so Alesta was "created". Of course when her mother returned to the farm the following day, her father was infuriated. He was angry by the fact that she was late by an entire day, but maddened that she came back pregnant, so he kicked her out on the street.

Her mother tried searching for the templar, hoping he would help care for her child, but she couldn't find him anywhere. She ended up working as a maid in a wealthy family's home.

When Alesta was finally born, she was immediately taken in to work as a maid alongside her mother as soon as she was able to hold a broom.

With short dark hair and broad features, Alesta was mistaken for a boy very often, which was to her mother's liking. She had a flat chest and a slender frame that could be easily concealed by baggy clothing. Due to that, she worked as a stable boy instead of a maid, since her mother thought the interaction with the animals would be good for her. Unfortunately, it had the complete opposite effect.

Alesta hated the animals. They smelled and left poo everywhere, it made her life miserable. The only thing she did like about them was how beautiful they were when they ran. Alesta loved running and climbing and jumping and she earned the nickname monkey since she looked like one as well as acted like one.

After several years, when she was about 15, the estate they were working in was attacked by the master of the house's rival. Her mother was brutally murdered in the siege, but Alesta managed to make it out with her quick skill. She looked back at the mansion and only saw savage men who killed and slaughtered innocents, and since then she's never trusted men.

After that incident, she fled to the streets. Alesta knew no one would know who she was. She took sometime to figure out what she should do. She remembered her mother mentioning how her father had been a powerful templar. so Alesta decided on searching for him in hopes of convincing him to take revenge on the men who killed her mother.
And so Alesta found herself in the ranks of the Templars.
