Oh gosh this is one long app, but I finally finished it :icontearplz: He went through so many redesigns, in fact, this is the 4th version of him :iconcryforeverplz: I was trying to really get a hold of the Victorian/Chinese outfitting orz But this is all I could come up with

Weapon:
Modified Gloves - Gloves modified to channel magic into a physical, hand-to-hand blows, they also act as knuckle guards design-wise. A bit on the heavy end, these gloves slow the user if he or she isn't trained in movement or raw lifting strength. These do weigh down Eric a good amount due to his lack of physical arm strength. Only when he uses Silent Storm does the burden lift slightly, but even then, the magic takes its toll on him.


Expertise:
Melee Specialist - Great at a close distance, Eric's past experience in hand-to-hand combat makes him adept in Brawling, Street fighting, and other Melee-esque activities. His light blows and small size are made up for with his speed as well as his magic. In a fight, it's best to have him at the front, wearing down an enemy's endurance. He won the weapon itself from an underground brawling competition back in Eivindr. (I sound like a game guide for an RPG here /SHOT)


Personality:
Straight-forward and blunt, Eric is considered dense-minded by most. He views everything with more of a Black/White mind set; either something is right or something is wrong, true or false, good or bad. To others, this comes off as close-minded, ignoring the deeper meaning in everything, but to him, it's just avoiding overly-complicated meanings.

Depending on his mood, Eric usually swings between lively and energetic to tired and hazy. It's really all based on what time of the day you catch him. Near mornings and midday, he is quick to talk back and cause trouble, but by afternoon and night, he is docile...I promise.

To get on his good side is easy enough, but to become enemies is just as easy. He can quickly disagree with someone and ignore their reasoning, insisting that he's right, no matter what. Since he's so vertically impaired, Eric is extremely sensitive to the issue of height, so it's best to avoid the topic completely.


History:
Born into the lower-lower class of Eivindr, Eric's family was constantly impoverished. His family was large, making it hard to support with a laborer's wages. Because of this, his family members were constantly working day in and day out.

While his mother was pregnant with him, she worked constantly as well, resulting in his early birth, leaving him under-developed and small. Eric lived miraculously, though he was still a runt compared to his 4 large, burly brothers. Because of this, it was rather hard to work in the hard-labor industry, so instead he worked as an apprentice to a shop keeper. This though, was shameful to him, since it showed that he was weak and could not work beside his brothers. This would continue to fester in his mind till he became older/

Eric was constantly mocked for being so short and comparably weak, so he took it upon himself to challenge them. He only knew one thing; they were wrong. He'd fight with his brothers as well as other people around the cavern town during his off-hours in the small, dark pubs in the inners of the city. This got him a reputation as being a runt, but one that can fight. (Which was really more of a lateral move, but, eh, let him have his fun)

As he grew older, his body didn't. Eric was baffled how he couldn't grow no matter what; how even though he was an adult at 20, he was still the size he was when he was 14. This only called on for more attention from his brothers, poking fun at him even more viciously. After a year of this torture, Eric packed up his small pottery shop (which he had now gained ownership of since the end of his apprenticeship), and decided to join the war.

Seeing only the dragon riders as real fighters for the Erius Knights, Eric first desired to join them, but due to his height, he was turned down. This did ignite a small level of anger, but he quickly turned that into motivation...to join the other faction. And here he is now, grumpy and Quaser-y.

Skill: Mists of Eivindr
- Using the fog manipulating techniques used in Eivindr, Eric manipulates the misty bodies (ie; Fog, Clouds, etc.,) to conceal himself before striking an opponent. Though his own sight is slightly muddled, attacking is still easy since he can quickly dispel the fog with the same ability, but this still gives an opponent time to react. This cannot be used outside of areas without any mist like bodies. Using him to dispel fog or clouds to clear the way for others is also one of the more effective uses for this ability. (He's like Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer...)


Skill: Silent Storm
- A movement enhancing ability, Silent Storm thins the amount of air surrounding Eric, reducing the amount of air resistance he is encountered with and thus increases his attack speed. The air is also redirected to flow with his attacks, making him faster and the force harder. This skill helps reduce the consequences of Eric's gloves.


Special: Heaven's Palm
- Eric's special does a pretty simple thing, forms a mass concentration of air in a half mile radius (No, unfortunately it's not palm shaped). The concentration makes the air pressure ridiculously high, forcing everything in the air to fall and everyone on the ground to go their knees. So far, this ability can only pull down relatively moderate sized objects, but nothing like the large ships and adult dragons. He can keep people downed, but it's not selective. Anyone in that half mile radius is affected.

Since he is the user, the air is all focusing on him as a center, and thus he faces the most damage. The longer he holds the spell, the more likely his ribcage will collapse on itself and squeeze his guts out (or something gruesome like that). This is why if he ever does have to perform this skill, it's only for a few short seconds.
