Flynn has never been the brightest bulb, in fact, it's pretty much a wonder how he's still alive and made it to college. He's not a bad guy, not at all, just really bad at staying out of trouble. He can be extremely friendly, almost too friendly. Flynn acts more like a puppy, taking to following people around and having almost too much energy to burn. The thing about him is that he has to always be doing something, and it's almost impossible to keep him sitting still and idle. This has gotten him into trouble a few times, leading to broken bones usually, but he always manages to pop back up wanting to try it again.
The way Flynn handles things is basically this: he doesn't. He does his best to avoid his problems and hopes he can either forget about them or that somehow they'd disappear. If he's frustrated about something, he bottles it up, and if anyone ever tries talking to him about deeper emotions, he usually jokes it off and avoids it. This is probably why most of his life is a mess, but Flynn does a good job ignoring that part.
When he used to take his medication, there were times he would be completely dazed and complacent, as if he were asleep but still awake. Personally, he liked it, since it made blocking out his problems easier. As he entered college, though, he found just as much enjoyment in having a clear mind than being drugged out.}

History:
_{Flynn grew up with the stereotypical big Italian family. To him, family came before everything, and since he grew up with 4 other brothers, 1 sister, and an army of cousins, there wasn't exactly a shortage of company. Flynn is the middle child of his family, leaving him with the sort of complex any middle child would get. Of course he loved his family, but being passed over for attention, since his older siblings were supposed to be responsible and his younger siblings were doted on, didn't actually rub him the right way. If anything, though, he was able to hide it.
There was nothing really special about him as a kid. His parents only knew that he was very good at getting himself hurt or in trouble, but that was it. It was only after too many repeated visits to the hospital was his behavior observed and diagnosed when he was 6. ADHD didn't seem like it was a problem, and Flynn didn't feel like there was anything wrong with him at all. The fact that he was being treated differently all of a sudden, as if there was something wrong with him, only frustrated him even more. It was only once he entered school that he actually faced trouble, finding it difficult to concentrate on schoolwork or to just sit still.
He wasn't a bad kid, he was just more prone to annoying other people. Basically, he was just a constant ball of pent up energy that most people couldn't handle all at once. This led to fights being a normal thing for him, and injuring himself an even more common occurrence. He wasn't the best at expressing his problems, and usually, he'd just explode all at once when the frustrations of his family life, school life, and social life seemed to just be too much. Of course, these feelings only lasted till he reached highschool.
Entering highschool seemed suddenly liberating for him. The chance to join sports teams and find a decent outlet for all his energy seemed to do him good. He was on nearly every team, from track and field to football. Unfortunately, moderation was a concept he didn't understand. He'd train himself to the point of injury, most notably in his sophomore year, where he tore his hamstring during track practice. This left him on the bench for most of the year, though the next year he was up and bustling again, this time getting back into football. That didn't last for long. In his senior year, he finally made Varsity, but he was quickly taken out in one of his games, leaving him concussed, not too badly broken up. But ultimately, out for the rest of the year. Somehow Flynn's managed to stay alive, only getting into one more minor car accident before going to college.
Flynn's college life was surprisingly more tame than his highschool career. Finally deciding to focus on his studies, Flynn entered college majoring in Education and minoring in Nursing. While he does hope to help kids from having the same kind of destructive childhood as he did. Doubting himself occasionally, Flynn is still concerned about whether or not he's ready to help anyone since he can barely help himself. Almanaccare was a program suggested to him by one of his professors, seeing as it might prove beneficial to observe and participate in a group undergoing the project.}
